The weather here has been a mixed bag, some glorious days of sunshine, some pouring with rain, we have spent as much as we can outside, any free time is taken up with taming the garden, some days you can tell, other days mother nature claims it back with vengeance!

The fire place is still half built, and the living room still feels like a construction zone, Josh is using some serious skills to run wiring inside the walls to make it uber clean but in doing so he is finding all sorts of monsters, rotting beams and  leaking pipes (somewhere???)  its a slow process.

I have directed my attention elsewhere, I didn’t want to start another project inside the house, many more unfinished projects and Josh will explode poor thing, but I find it hard to sit still so out to the carriage house I went.  Let it be said I’m not calling it the carriage house to be pretentious! We went to the local historical society to get some info on the house and it turns out the little house at the end of the yard was indeed a carriage house! I have had the space earmarked for a potential art studio, something I have wanted for a long time and since my little art adventure is taking on a mind of its own I thought I would have a crack at it myself – since Josh was otherwise occupied with holes in the walls.
